As LUCAP expands we will be recruiting centres in all Australian states and territories that treat patients with lung cancer. We welcome contact from specialists, hospitals and treatments centres that want to learn more about what is involved and how they can contribute to improving lung cancer care in Australia.
In time LUCAP will produce regular audit reports that will be of interest to those working in lung cancer care and treatment. As LUCAP grows and sufficient data is generated, we plan to translate information into plain language patient resources. Subscribe to keep up to date with the latest information.
LUCAP will not only function as a clinical quality platform; we aim to provide a dynamic data platform to facilitate multiple cohort and registry-based randomised studies. This will cover all aspects of lung cancer care from heath service implementation, epidemiology, real life outcomes of modern treatments, patient reported outcome measures, linking patients with tumour mutations to new drugs and rare cancer outcomes (mesothelioma and thymoma). LUCAP encourages collaboration with researchers working in any of these areas.
